fall back on a great bluefish recipe
autumn has begun. the leaves are starting to change and the nightly chorus of crickets most nights now are reduced to just a few lonely peeps. it’s kind of sad to see the summer end but the selection at monahan’s this weekend will definitely put a smile on your face.
we’re seeing the fattest, finest northeast swordfish of the year. gorgeous sashimi grade bluefin tuna are also passing by our new england coast and lots of bluefish (which have been kind of scarce this summer) are in this morning. we bring in whole fresh bluefish and fillet them as needed for the freshest fish available in these parts. beautiful rhode island striped bass & albacore tuna, schrod haddock, wild alaskan coho salmon & greek bronzino will all grace our ice this weekend. here’s a great bluefish sandwich recipe and check out more from our archives. happy fall.
is it time yet for those of us who donated back in early pandemic days to get our t shirts?
hi john,
yes! mike sent a message through gofundme in may or june to send us an address and size tshirt. email us your address & size and we‘ll get that out to you. or you can stop in to pick one up.
thanks for your support.
oof, that bluefish sandwich sounds so wonderful. wish i’d seen this before the weekend. now i’ll just wait until next weekend to try it out. hope all is well, cheers
