1 lb. fresh bay scallops
\n1- 1 1\/2 c fresh lime juice
\n1 medium jalape\u00f1o\u00a0seeded and\u00a0sliced super thinly or finely chopped
\n2 t olive oil
\nsalt to taste
\noptional: red pepper flakes<\/p>\n

in\u00a0 non-reactive bowl, marinate scallops in fresh lime juice for 1\u20132 hours. cover and keep in refrigerator.\u00a0pour off lime juice and add the remaining ingredients with a good squeeze of an additional lime.<\/p>\n
